Free Day Extravaganza!

Writer's picture: sweumichsweumich

Today I got up bright and early today to try and see all that I could of New York City in the limited time we have here. I started by going to the 9/11 memorial and museum, since the last time I was in NYC a few years ago the museum wasn’t finished. It was well worth it! I then got to meet up with a cousin of mine for a tour of her work and lunch. We got to eat a sampler of crab, lobster and shrimp rolls (which was closer to New England Seafood than I have been in a number of years). I then got to spend time in the Guggenheim, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Natural History Museum. We had fun taking pictures with statues containing deformed noses.

It’s safe to say my feet could use a break from all of the walking! We went to Juniors for cheesecake followed by a nap at the hotel, and John’s for pizza. We finished the day by preparing to go the school tomorrow and packing our lunches.
