K-12 School Visits

Teachers at elementary, middle, and high schools in the greater Ann Arbor area have the opportunity to request a visit to their classroom from the Society of Women Engineers at the University of Michigan. A group of 2-5 volunteers will visit a class, speak to students about what engineering is and career opportunities available in the engineering fields, and do a fun engineering activity with the students. Activities and length of the visit can be tailored to each teacher's specific needs.
